Senator Vince Demuzio » Wall of Honor

As a dedicated state politician, Vince’s career in Illinois politics started in 1974.  As “Dean of the Senate” he was ultimately elected Senate Majority Leader.  Over the past 28, years he has used his influence to bring state and federal funding to local communities.  He has been a “voice of downstate politics” in the Illinois General Assembly.  Vince has won numerous legislative awards, along with honors from the Illinois Farm Bureau, Illinois Education Association, and various labor groups.
