Patricia Ugo-Hlafka » Wall of Honor

An accomplished nurse of 50 years, an educator in the field of nursing, a nursing journalist, and a local volunteer, Patricia has made substantial contributions in the healthcare field. After graduating high school in 1969, she began her nursing career at Barnes Hospital School of Nursing and completed her Masters in Nursing in 1995. During her tenure as a nurse, she became a Certified Wound, Ostomy & Skin Care nurse, a certified Diabetes Nurse Educator and a Certified Reviewer for ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement for patient safety and surgical outcomes. Patricia has served as a volunteer at the 2020-21 COVID Vaccine Center, Benld Adopt a Pet. St. Micheal’s Parish, and Mercy Ministry.
