LTC William P Falke
Biography
Lieutenant Colonel William P. Falke, a proud graduate of Benld High School, Class of 1960, has led a distinguished life of service and achievement. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla followed by a master’s in military service from the US Army Command and Staff College in 1974, and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1976. Falke enlisted in the United States Army in 1965, serving honorably until his retirement in 1988 as a Lieutenant Colonel. His military career included combat service in Vietnam with the 9th Infantry Division and the 1st Aviation Brigade until 1969. He held major assignments across the globe, including posts in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and various locations throughout the United States. His dedication and leadership earned him numerous military honors, including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, two Meritorious Service Medals, and three Air Medals.
